WELL DONE TEAM

The TRRC West Midlands Team was at Luncheon sale event organised by Unity Promotion on Saturday 30/08/2019. We sold sweet corns, burgers, kids drinks and crisps. The team worked tirelessly to make sure all our items are sold. We sold almost everything and the remaining unsold stuff was resold at cost among ourselves. Our efforts and determination have registered a remarkable return that boosted the amount already contributed towards support reparations.

Achieving such success from an event that was not properly planned because of the time scale could not be possible without the unflinching support and determination of the following people below.

First Unity Promotion under the leadership Ebrahima Jammeh who allowed us to participate in the luncheon sale event. Special thanks go to the Marong family from Lamin, Mariama and all kids, they were very instrumental in the success of the event from start to finish. We are very grateful to our supporters who made the event truly successful and these include Fatou Kebbeh, Awa Sillah, Mamy and Isatou Kaba. They were the people who were actually making burgers, roasting sweet corns and selling everything. Our regards to Seyaka Sonko who spared special time to drive around in order to run some errands on the day. Yusupha Corr was also very supportive for arranging Banachin catering for the team. The idea of luncheon sale emanated from Babucarr Ndure and he played a very active role in the implementation all the way through. Koto Ansumana also contributed in his own way despite the fact that he had visitors on the day. Fabakary Samateh was on a separate mission but that did not stop him from participating in his own little way. The crown went to the already crowned lady of the team Aji Kombo Bojang. Aji was the one who cooked the Benachin and the snacks for sale and even added extra despite the fact that she herself was selling her own stuff, she was the first on the ground and the last person to leave. We can’t thank Aji enough but we are very grateful
